The scarf is crocheted by women in Burundi as "Work as the solution". Surrounded by her children, the woman can earn food from home. The African craftsmanship is the whole reason for Coffee Beanies' identity.

Quality: Biodegradable yarn. 80% cotton and 20% alpaca. Alpaca is the best yarn. It is gentle in its environment, drinks very little water and eats only the outer twigs over a large area. It is the most temperate wool of all. So it's perfect for our changeable weather. At the same time, it holds water up to 40% of its own weight without losing its ability to warm itself.
