The importance
Knitwear is a women's way out of extreme poverty. Every time you buy from us, you're ensuring the survival of a hardworking Burundian family trying to make a living as coffee farmers. But it takes our help when we're talking about the world's poorest country (2022).
When a knitter makes one hat a week, she doubles the entire family's income. The fastest knitter can make two products a day.
Beautiful and climate-friendly
These sweaters are hand-knitted in our fluffy alpaca wool blend to match your favorite hat, headband or scarf.
The wool blend is exactly how we want it to be. Fluffy so you can snuggle up in it on early mornings. For the first 4 years, we bought yarn for the knitters through Danish wholesalers. Gradually, we found that brushed wool in alpaca was exactly what we were looking for. Alpaca is the best wool source. It is gentle in its environment, drinks very little water and eats only the outer twigs over a large area. The wool is the most temperate wool of all. So it's perfect for our changeable weather. At the same time, it holds water up to 40% of its own weight without losing its ability to keep you warm. We added the 18% recycled polyamide to ensure that the wrist warmers can withstand endless use and stay firm and beautiful. When we started building our own yarn a few years later, we were the first in Denmark to introduce brushed wool with recycled polyamide.
The wrist warmers are so beautiful in the right on-time colors that you won't have to buy a new winter coat again this year.

Washing instructions
We always recommend that you hand wash and tumble dry our products. The wool is basically self-cleaning, and you can hang it out dry in your bathroom in the steam after a shower. Wool is great for self-cleaning if your wrist warmers just need a refresh.

Pulse warmers are for those who don't like to freeze. Choose a color that can add the finishing touch to your look. Remember, if you can keep your wrists warm, you can easily do without something for your fingers well into the fall.
